Our Mission
HydrOcean’s mission is to deliver a first-of-its-kind, continuously operating renewable energy solution that provides a fully viable alternative to fossil fuels. Through our proprietary HydrOcean™ methodology, designed for oceanic coastlines and resilient in all weather conditions, we generate high-density clean energy with secondary functions of fresh water production and CO₂ extraction. We are committed to dramatically reducing global energy costs and accelerating environmental protection through scalable, always-on innovation.

By developing a new environmentally friendly technology for power and freshwater generation, we can significantly reduce our impact on the planet while allowing society to continue advancing. Locating this energy source close to areas of demand lowers costs and minimizes strain on long-distance infrastructure; notably, about 40% of the U.S. population and 40% of the global population live within 60 miles (100 km) of a coastline. In addition, introducing a new resource alleviates pressure on heavily utilized inland systems, delivering meaningful benefits to both developed and developing nations.
